Recreation in Northern Wisconsin
Little Lakes Ranch offers several outdoor activities including cross country skiing, snow shoeing, hiking, and photography. We have 250 acres available to explore (100 acres inside the preserve) and 4 miles of groomed cross country ski trails in the winter. Near by are the Lincoln County Ski Trails, featuring 5k, 12k, and 20k cross country ski trails, spread out over 7000 acres. This is a unique area of wilderness that is well maintained for the outdoor enthusiast. These trails are also available in the summer for hiking or mountain biking.
Snow shoes for adults and children are available at the Lodge and offer another fun winter activity for visitors. You may hike in the preserve among the whitetails or on our land adjacent to the preserve.
Summertime offers activities nearby such as canoeing the Wisconsin River, fishing the lakes of Northern Wisconsin, or hiking on the beautiful Ice Age Trail. There are several golf courses and some nice restaurants within close proximity of the Lodge. We also provide guided musky and walleye fishing trips during late summer / early fall.
We encourage family vacations, friendly reunions, business retreats, etc. Our location is centralized among major highways and two regional airports.
